The Schwebel Baking Company MANUFACTURING AND PRODUCTION WORKERS in Youngstown, Ohio

The Schwebel Baking Company is seeking full-time manufacturing employees. Make an hourly wage up to $21 or more! New employees will make a minimum hourly wage of $15.25, but many of our new team members earn considerably more in mere weeks! Employees will have ample opportunities to work overtime and greatly increase their weekly pay!

 

Must have open availability - any day / shift / time.

 

Shift start times are either 4am or 6am (1st), 12pm or 2pm (2nd), and 8pm or 10pm (3rd). You can choose your shift but not the start time. All shifts are at least 8 hours with the potential for overtime if needed. During our busy season (Summertime) employees will work 6-7 days a week.

 

This is an entry level position; may assist various machine operators, may be assigned a variety of manual labor tasks in the production of baked goods. May be assigned shipping and/or sanitation duties as well. Generally, reports to shift supervisor, duties may vary from day to day.

 

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Able to perform basic math and computer skills.

Maintain and follow all sanitation guidelines and practices.

Must abide by The Schwebel Baking Company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must be able to frequently bend, stand for long periods of time, kneel, stoop, twist, and climb.

Must be able to pass a basic functional competency test.

Must be able to pass a routine drug test (this includes THC) and background test.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Duties:

Arrives on or before scheduled start time to properly review duties for the day.

Assists machine operators in set up and monitoring of equipment.

Monitors product quality according to company standards (proper size, color, texture, slicing, packaging).

Physically handles product, materials, and equipment (pan trucks, baskets, racks, pans, product, etc.).

Keeps equipment and area clean and orderly.

Properly wears personal protective equipment as supplied and directed by the company; wears uniform/clothing in accordance with GMP/ company standards.

Communicates / coordinates with others to maintain and assure proper product flow.

Assists other members of the bakery team where needed (breakdowns / emergencies, etc.).

Performs sanitation, production, and /or shipping functions as required by plant supervision, as well as other duties as direct
