About The OpportunityMenasha Corporation is looking for individuals to effectively operate a die cutting press and product and monitor quality work at an acceptable rate. If you're an experienced machine operator who has worked on a die cutter, we want to speak to you. The Die Cutter Machine Operator efficiently performs set-up and operates machines that die cut blank and/or pre-printed stock. Responsibilities include confirmation of accuracy and completeness of order, dies, set-up and installation, paper stock, and the load and feed of paper, and the effectiveness and accuracy of cutting, staging completed work per instructions, and area maintenance.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Operate and maintain die cutters Responsible for setup of press according to necessary specifications including monitor quality and make adjustments while press is running, measure stock thickness and be able to calculate proper rule height for stocks using .937 high as standard, and must know the proper rules, [some examples are cut, crease and perforated, and their characteristics as far as thickness and hardness]to prepare the board according to customer and to achieve maximum running speeds Validate setup of matrices and or counters as pertinent to job in progress and how they mount to press Complete understanding of how dies are made, know nicking patterns, how rubbering works, and different rubbers available to maximize efficiency in machine operation Track the count being processed on the job and slip-sheet if appropriate Communicate with departing shift to learn status of job in progress

Skills & Experience

Work Experience RequiredPrevious die cutting experience (2 to 3 years) in a flat bed press environment

Current Available Shifts: Sun-Thurs - 3rd shift, 8 hour shifts from 11pm-7am Mon-Fri - 2nd shift, 8 hour shifts from 3:00pm to 11:00pm *Some overtime may be required to me the needs of the business

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities DesiredAvailability to work overtime (shift and weekends) Additional Requirements Training rate of $21/hour (no exp.) or $23 (with experience) Shift differential of $2/hr for 2nd shift and $3/hr for 3rd shift Benefits start after 30 days Climate controlled facility Eligible for increase after 90 days Two companies, one vision.
