Duties : Analyze business requirements, design, develop and unit test software applications. Improve system quality by identifying issues, common patterns and developing operating procedures. Enhance applications for better performance, making recommendations / designing implementing solutions. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, test and deployment process. Maintain and improve existing codebase and code reviews. Liaise with collogues to implement technical design. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand the requirements, provide updates ensuring timely delivery. Provide written technical documentation and maintain documentation. Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies and nest practices in software development and engineering. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $134,000 to $143,600 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Softare Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: C# language, .NET framework and its code components; Designing and consuming RESTful APIs; Dependency injection principles and experience with IoC (Inversion of Control) containers like Autofac and Unity; CI/CD pipelines using frameworks like Azure or Harness; Core services and components of Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions and BigQuery; NoSQL database like MongoDB and Aerospike; and Real-time messaging frameworks like Kafka, RabbitMQ or IBM MQ.
