VCA Animal Hospitals Client Service Representative- Waukesha in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Then we want you to join our fabulous Client Care Team! We are actively seeking that special enthusiastic pet lover who enjoys providing the very best customer service to our clients. Work in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment where everyday your talents & contributions make a difference in the lives of our clients and their pets.

Prior successful experience in the face-paced world of customer service, a passion for compassion with animals, and the ability to be a highly organized multi-tasking whiz are required.

Compensation : starts at $15/hour

Schedule: Full-time schedule. 2 Saturdays per month are required (7:30am-1:30pm).

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

  • Answering phones to schedule appointments and manage client inquiries

  • Exceptional customer service skillsincluding: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

  • Schedule appointmentsand manage client inquiries

  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.

  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.

  • Effectively communicating between all members of staff; functioning as a liaison between clients and medical staff

  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).

  • Proficient computer knowledge

  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.

  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
