Finance Manager

What would you do as our Finance Manager

As our Finance Manager, you will provide leadership in the financial management and business partnering to our two Polish entities, by working closely on planning, analysis and execution including financial controlling and reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures, while providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

You would also:

  • Manage the finance and accounting department

  • Take a proactive role in controlling the business performance and supporting the business to achieve targeted result

  • Play a key role in the continued development of deliverables including reporting, budgeting and planning process by partnership with the business leaders

  • Control of the company's costs, revenues and cash flows, including optimization proposals/tracking

  • Ensure that sales and operations adhere to financial, legal requirements and ASSA ABLOY procedures and enforce that every part of the organization is following defined standards for processes and data management, which results to meaningful financial and reporting outcome.

    This position also entails management and control of bank facilities, liaising with internal and external auditors as well as external legal on litigation matters. You would also be responsible for debt management and collections, and assessment of payment terms of commercial contracts.

    The skills and experience you need:

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance with at least 2 years in a similar position (operational)

  • Knowledge of Polish GAAP as well as IFRS

  • Fluency in Polish and English is a necessity

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel at advance level)

  • Experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an advantage

    You should also have high level communication and analytical skills as well as a degree in Economics or Finance, can be replaced by certified accountant or ACCA/CIMA/similar certification. You should be able to promote and raise financial awareness across the company and feel comfortable in demanding discussions with senior leaders.
