We are a folding carton manufacturing plant looking for a candidate with strong mechanical experience and aptitude to join our Litho Department as Press Feeder.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Adjust and run the printing press.

  • Perform set up for feed system.

  • Assist second Pressman to change plates and blankets.

  • Ensure all press supplies are available.

  • Assist with make ready.

  • Assist in washing plates, blankets, rollers, and ink fountains where required.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • General clean up.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Attend and participate in ongoing training.

  • Not limited to and including other duties as assigned.

    Requirements and Experience:

  • Grade 12 or acceptable experience.

  • English language knowledge/ability – speaking, listening, reading and writing.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Off-Set Printing Press.

  • Experience in Manufacturing/production environment.

  • Strong Mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience in Equipment Preventative Care and Troubleshooting.

  • Basic Computer knowledge.

  • Available to work Weekly Rotational Shift schedule.

  • Must be both familiar and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (ie. Occupational Health and Safety Act).
