POSITION OVERVIEW (Job Summary):

Under the direction of the Vice President of Aftermarket, the purpose of this job is to help grow the aftermarket sales revenue for Thermal and Extrusion parts and service in North America (Mexico, Canada, USA).  Accurately prepare quotes and review T&Cs on received orders to meet and exceed customer expectations and to secure the success and profitability of CPM Process Solutions

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Prepare quotes for customers based on email requests, phone calls and outside sales managers’ leads.

  • Assist locating new sales opportunities through tactics like cold-calling and building mailing lists.

  • Provide effective customer service to enable the company to maximize sales and profits.

  • Provide effective communication with other team members to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy.

  • Developing meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.

  • Following up on sales leads to further the sales process.

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.

  • Participate in company sales meetings to increase communication, understanding, and teamwork.

  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.

  • Provide and populate information relevant to quotes and follow ups using the existing platforms (Salesforce, SAP, etc.) to meet the expectations of CPM managers, team members, and customers.

  • Reviewing T&Cs on upcoming purchase orders and verifying prices and parts are correct.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of product, theories, and practices of industry .

  • Background in industrial sales, selling processes and Incoterms.

  • Both verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with customers over the phone and through email.

  • Experience with CRM platforms preferred for managing customer interactions.

  • Ability to identify potential leads and reach out to them effectively.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to work under critical time deadlines and pressures.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of industry related experience.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.

  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.

  • Finger dexterity is required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.

  • Communication skills using the spoken word.

  • Ability to see within normal parameters.

  • Ability to hear within normal range.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • LANGUAGE:

  • Required: English          Bilingual: Spanish, French not required but preferred.

  • Should be proficient in local language
