Description
EWASTE+, the leading EWASTE recycler in NY State, is seeking aHuman Resources Generalistfor our Victor, NY facility.
As aHuman Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

This is an in office position - hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary: $55,000 -$65,000
Manage full cycle recruiting for 3 locations; post job opportunities, screen resumes and applications against current job openings
Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to make employment offers
Provide pre-employment processing and conduct orientation class for new employees
Prepare and manage new hire benefit enrollment and annual open enrollment
Create and process termination correspondence, separation letter and benefit termination
Audit weekly payroll via Paychex Flex
Process unemployment claims, employee verifications, FMLA/PFL/STD applications
Create, maintain, and update employee personnel files and HRIS system in an accurate and confidential manner
Works with the Operations team to creates innovative retention strategies
Responsible for filing and maintaining all Human Resources Department documents
Remain updated and knowledgeable regarding all EWASTE+ policies and procedures
Design and develop Human Resources Department forms as necessary
Assist Director of Human Resources with other projects as needed
Position Requirements
Education:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
Related Experience:
2+ years Human Resources experience
2+ years full cycle recruiting experience
Applicant Tracking System experience; knowledge of My Staffing Pro is a plus
HRIS experience; knowledge of Paychex Flex is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; and Microsoft Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
High level of integrity
