In-House shop labor needed

We have an immediate need for general shop labor to work in the manufacturing field.

We will train the right individuals.

Our business is focused on slowing the effects of climate change by monitoring air emissions of greenhouse gases. Our clinet base includes the USEPA, all of the major auto and diesel manufacturers, Universities and Government Labs, Dept of Energy, Dept of Defense, NASA, etc.

This is an excellent opportunity to not only advance in a career but to contribute to slowing climate change (No climate deniers, please.)

Primary duties would include running shop machines (Lathe, Mill, Drill Press, etc.) use of hand-held and power tools. Brazing and basic electrical would also be required and/or taught to the selected individuals.

Other peripheral responsibilities may include shipping and receiving, general maintenance.

Hours may be flexible if hired part time, full time is preferred but we are open to part time

Starting wage would be in the $18.00 to $21.00/hr. range, depending on experience. Salary increases would follow depending on the individual's abilities.

This position does not require a degree.

Full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, BCBS insurance, 401K with match and paid vacations.

This is not a remote-work position and the individual would be needed at our facility.

This position would also require the individual pass a drug screening, background check and general physical. A valid drivers' license would also be required.
