You as Project Manager Sustainable Packaging are responsible for partnering with Packaging Engineers at Global Strategic Accounts, Packaging Manufacturers and Packaging converters, addressing marking challenges in new sustainable packaging development. The aim is to position Videojet as the preferred partner for sustainable packaging throughout our Global Strategic Accounts leveraging the technology leading R&D centers of the customer. This position will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Work with Strategic Global Accounts to identify current and future business opportunities by producing strategic plans optimizing the specific GSA strategic success factors.

  • Attend Global Sustainability Packaging summits to build a strong network of contacts within Videojet Global Strategic Accounts

  • This role will require a 50% share of global travelling to visit customers Project Technology Center

  • Build Standard Work to capture, store and share packaging substrate information and trends to be able toproactively generate recommendations based on the substrate structure.

  • Create competitive edge for Videojet in cooperation with Videojet Global Product Management Team by developing products based on packaging insights generated by the team.

  • Utilize social networks and internal experts to establish Videojet as a leader on state-of-the-art topics (new regulations, complex packaging materials…)

  • Develop case studies highlighting successful customer wins in sustainable packaging

  • Train global and local GSA sales organisation to increase expertise at sustainable packaging materials, regulations and applications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks a month with overnight stays included.

  • A proven track record in Project Management with Multinational Corporation on packing solutions

  • Successful management in a complex “matrixed” organization

  • Work in an agile manner both internally and externally

  • Excellent relationship building at all levels.

  • Engineering or technical undergraduate degree, preferable in packaging material solutions

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
