Description:

As the plant maintenance mechanic reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the Maintenance team. You will be responsible for all tasks related to predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Tasks include repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

What You’ll Do:

-Maintains production and quality by ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

-Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

-Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; safely using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools

-Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories

MUST HAVES:

-Heavy industrial mechanical and millwright experience in a continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing environment.

-Experience maintaining large industrial equipment

-Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and continual diligence about follow-up.

-Knowledgeable of root cause and fault free analysis techniques

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

-Strong attendance record

-Consistent tenure

LIKE TO HAVE:

-Related education or certifications

-Millwork experience

-Welding and fabrication

-Electrical troubleshooting

Schedule: Night shift, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
