Responsibilities

COLORECTAL SURGERY ARNP OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT:

Franciscan Surgical Associates at St. Joseph Medical Center (https://www.vmfh.org/find-a-location/franciscan-surgical-associates-at-st-joseph-291174) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. You will work with our colorectal surgeon and patients. Monday-Friday with built in admin time. No call other than during clinic hours.

Core components of this position include:

• First Assist on surgery procedures

• Clinic duties for new and established patients

• Inpatient hospital rounding and patient management

• Consultations, discharges, managing order, patient history, and surgery prep

Qualifications

Requirements include:

• Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

• Candidate must haveat least two years surgical experienceas a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

• Licensed in the state of Washington as a P.A or ARNP by the time of employment

• Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority

• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$61.45-$88.70 /hour
