Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a terrific Syracuse employer that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for a newly created role. How you will make an impact

• Help produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet analysis for management purposes

• Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Participate in various entity wide initiatives

• Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

• Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

• Produce monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  Requirements

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

• Excel Formulas experience desired

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• BS in Accounting
