Job Description:

Hiring an Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for supporting sustaining engineering efforts from the field. Position will be responsible for:

• Design and development of embedded control components and systems from concept through production.

• Design, assembly and testing of analog, digital and power circuits

• Technical documentation including requirements development, functional specifications, design specifications and qualification test plans and reports

• Schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection

• Support of sustaining products including quality improvements, cost reduction, component obsolescence, failure analysis.

• Evaluation and approval of components to meet requirements for availability, performance and cost

• Evaluation of failures to determine root cause and corrective actions

• Sustaining electrical engineering support to manufacturing operations and cost reduction efforts

• Electronic Product Change Notice (PCN) generation and implementation

• Participate in hardware design reviews

• Interface with team members, customers, and suppliers to move designs from concept to production

• Interface with Reliability group and manufacturing for test plan and fixture electrical design

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
