Philips Procurement Project Manager IGTS in Suzhou, China
In this role, you have the opportunity to
participate in driving locally in China the implementation of the supply base strategy, to participate in savings projects, sustaining engineering, supplier performance challenges, value engineering workshops and DfX programs in Image Guided Therapy Systems Business
You are responsible for
Represents Procurement in projects (AD, PDLM, Productivity, MLD)
Represents Procurement link on site supporting supply issues, quality issues etc.
Reports Procurement KPI's locally and globally
Support AOP initiatives
Ideation and implementation of savings (BOM, TCO)
Ideation and implementation of improvements of supplier quality and supply base enhancement
Preparing and managing cost price roadmaps for assigned building blocks / products
Support development and execute local Procurement strategies within the boundaries of the global Procurement strategy
Supports assessments, supplier audits or scouting processes, supplier selection, development and phase-in & phase-out of suppliers
Supports preparation of requirement package, execution of RfQ/RfP process and communicate with suppliers project related commercial and technical requirements
Supports preparation and execution of supplier selection process (rough savings estimations, Business case calculations, definition of implementation timeline, alignment with Business and Sourcing Board, part enrichment, Phase-in / Phase out plan)
Supports Supplier Project Agreement/ Project Book

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Technical Competencies
BS or comparable diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Relevant working experience in an industry like Medical, Aviation or Automotive or other high level assembly industry
Strong experience in Project management or Procurement/ sourcing, with knowledge in Value Engineering and DfX tools
Understanding the principles of executing cost down projects and new product introduction projects
Understanding of supplier assessments
Project management
Cost modeling
Total cost of ownership
Image Guided Therapy product knowledge preferred
Knowledge of IGT’s BMS preferred
