Summary: The Assistant Finance Manager will help manage the fiscal operations of the agency to ensure the proper safeguarding of agency assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential job duties/responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs general accounting.
  • Assists Finance Director in all aspects of Fiscal Operations
  • Processes Bi-weekly Payroll distributes year-end tax documents
  • Administers Agency Retirement Plan and makes sure it is in compliance with ERISA
  • Helps process all fiscal fund/grant reporting.
  • Processes deposits for senior housing.
  • Processes draw-downs from LOC - (Head Start Program).
  • Assists in the monitoring of expenditures of approved budgets for all programs.
  • Adhere to Piedmont Community Actions, Inc. and Head Start's policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports.
