Heritage Fence Company is looking for a General Laborer to join our growing team! This role is a great opportunity for a detail-orientated individual with experience in the Construction space. We are celebrating 52 years in the Fencing industry and are focused on customer satisfaction, quality craftsmanship and employee engagement and retention.

We service the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial markets in eastern PA, MD, DE, VA, NJ, NY with a focus on all types of Fencing (Wood, PVC, Aluminum, Chain Link, Steel, Temporary, etc) Railings, Wooden & Steel Guide Rails, Dumpster Enclosures, Anti-Climb, Temporary Pedestrian Barriers, Jersey Barriers (PVC & Concrete), Gate Operators, Access Control and much more! 

Responsibilities:

• Move, secure, install, build, load and unload materials for jobsite
• Assist in prepping job site for installation
• Lay out materials
• Assist Steel Erector with placement of trusses
• Assist team in pulling fabric over trusses and safely securing
• Adhere to relevant safety regulations and requirements
• Safely operate the use of small hand tools, equipment and/or large and small machines
• Assist in proper prepping/loading of trucks with materials and tools for daily jobs
• Check trucks to make sure all tools/trailers are properly secured
• Safely operate heavy equipment such as a Forklift, Skid-steer, Excavator, telehandler, high-reach, etc
• Safely work at heights during truss, cabling, fabric installation
• Maintain a clean work environment

Requirements and Skills:

• Willingness to travel
• Not afraid of heights
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1-year general construction experience
• Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation
• US Citizenship or Working Visa
• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• Ability to pass new hire and random drug test
• Ability to work full time & occasional weekends
• Positive attitude

Compensation

$18-$28/hr
