Position Summary:

This position will primarily focus on shipping and receiving responsibilities.  Additional responsibilities will include general labor duties to ensure on-time production and shipment of orders while adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Essential Functions:

• Safely load finished materials on trucks utilizing a forklift, ensuring accuracy of products being shipped in accordance with shipping documentation.
• Perform tarping and untarping of trailers, requiring climbing onto and off of semi-trailers.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment through performance of general housekeeping duties.
• Confirm paperwork is accurate and complete for all shipments.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and machines.
• Provide general labor assistance to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous forklift/shipping experience a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential

Physical Requirements:

• Physical position requiring frequent lifting, climbing, bending, walking, and constant movement
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally (up to 50 pounds frequently)
• Good vision, with or without corrective lenses
• Standing or walking for long periods
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, kneel, crawl, and twist frequently
