This position will provide leadership and participate in shaping the organizations technological trajectory and driving innovation across operations. This position will leverage leadership and technical expertise to steer the organization toward a future where innovative technologies are seamlessly integrated into the business, propelling the organization to new success and sustainability.

Responsibilities: :::

  • Provide leadership and direction to business development and marketing areas related to research and development and emerging technologies.
  • Create and develop specific corporate-wide project teams that enable technology integration success throughout the company to build organizational agility.
  • Lead and develop the marketing strategy to increase new customers and promote emerging product offerings.
  • Evaluate potential markets to enter, understand the market space, and build a framework to support technology and business strategy within that market.
  • Understand and evaluate feasibility of new technology and determine potential customers and applications, leveraging material technology to build and advance into additional technological and service areas.
  • Define and articulate a compelling vision for technology integration that aligns with the organizations long-term strategic objectives and market positioning.
  • Implement sophisticated systems, processes, and metrics to improve operational excellence.
  • Work with research and development and product development to translate emerging technology capabilities to potential customers and industry segments.
  • Develop and architect a cohesive technology roadmap that identifies key areas for innovation and outlines actionable strategies for implementation.
  • Collaborate clos ly with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment between technology integration efforts and overarching business goals.
  • Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on our business and competitive advantage.
  • Make informed investment decisions in technology initiatives, balancing short-term gains with long-term strategic imperatives.
  • Oversee the execution of technology integration initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment with operational processes and performance objectives.
  • Create a data-driven culture by establishing metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of technology integration efforts, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ensure that all technology integration activities adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements, mitigating risks and safeguarding our reputation and assets.
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential risks and challenges associated with technology adoption, implementing robust risk management strategies.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances with technology vendors, research institutions, and industry peers to stay at the forefront of technological innovation.
