Description

Hannah Savage with Robert Half is seeking an HR Manager for a client in the manufacturing industry. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will be the sole HR representative, responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, policy implementation, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating the hiring process.

  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the organization.

  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and sensitivity, fostering a positive work environment and resolving conflicts effectively.

  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience in the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and workforce dynamics.

  • Proven track record of effectively managing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR initiatives into tangible business results.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
