HP Inc. Supply Chain Finance Analyst in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia

What a Supply Chain Finance Analyst does at HP (Penang, Malaysia):

  • Supply Chain Factory Cost of Sales (COS) management & product cost setting for Ink Supplies organization.

  • Support to Factory Fixed asset processes (capitalization, depreciation).

  • Support Ink Supplies organization on key deliverables of planning and reporting: Monthly forecast (Flash), Month end close, budgeting, long-term planning with a primary focus on COS.

  • Support product costing with a focus on Factory overhead and other WW Supply Chain costs.

  • Support transformation and investments projects (e.g. CAPEX investments) and provide business advisory on decisions on the basis of Financial ROIC.

  • Drive and enable savings projects within above defined scope.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with business managers to guide and influence decision-making.

  • Support policy and process improvement to ensure US GAAP and SOX financial compliance.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design, with a maximized leverage on business automation capabilities.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
