Industrial Plant Electrician - Plant City, FL

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Plant Electrician to join our growing team in Plant City, FL. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our electrical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical systems, including control panels, motors, transformers, and lighting.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance personnel to diagnose and resolve electrical problems.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience working as an electrician in an industrial setting.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
strong understanding of electrical principles and theories.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems independently.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities
The plant electrician provides technical expertise in a supportive role to all areas of our operation. This
position reports directly to the Maintenance/Technical Manager and VP of Operations.
This position is currently on a 12 hour rotating schedule, with weekends and overtime possible during peak
season and heavy demands. Typical week = four days on and four days off.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
Skills
electrical/electronics (3 years of experience is required)
P.L.C.,
electrical schematics.
