As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain proper production by ensuring that the production line equipment is working at full capacity.

* What We're Looking For:*

We are currently hiring a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the production equipment is working at full capacity. We are looking for a candidate with experience in basic maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

• Excellent mechanical skills and problem-solving skills with a working knowledge of conveyors, pumps and hydraulic systems. Gearbox, centrifugal pumps and motor rebuild experience preferred.
• Must be safety conscious and have a good working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to run your own job. Must have the ability to multitask.
• Must be able to spend a good part of the day on your feet. Physical requirements include walking, bending, climbing, crawling and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.

Required Education:

High School Diploma, continued education in industrial maintenance preferred. Any combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively perform the duties of the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and installation of processing equipment including:

• • Chains
  • Sprockets
  • Belts
  • Gear drives and reducers
  • Motor changes
  • Bearing changes
  • Oil and greasing according to Food Safe Guidelines.
  • Pumps rebuilds and repairs.

• Willing to learn Fabrication and welding.

• Able to work extensive overtime during the season.

• Ability to work alone or with a team. Self-motivated.

• Moving heavy equipment.

• General housekeeping ensures area is thoroughly cleaned upon maintenance completion.
