Molina Healthcare Analyst, Reporting & Analytics, Appeals & Grievances (Remote - EST) in Ohio

JOB DESCRIPTION

*Preferred time zones are EST. We highly prefer candidates based in EST time zones. Working hours can be from 7 am to 4pm EST.*

Job Summary

Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making as well as designing, developing, testing and deploying reports to provider networks and other end users for operational and strategic analysis. This role supports our Appeals and Grievances team.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Performs research and analyses on a variety of topics related to the overall support of business operations.

  • Creates and maintains reports to manage claim inventory, adjustment processes, audits, compliance, recoveries, coordination with other departments.

  • Consolidates research and analyses into summarized findings and may develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.

  • Follows team coding standards for report design. Works to build, implement and support best practices among the team.

  • Helps work with all levels of management team to develop business requirements for reports.

  • Support , develop, create and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports for compliance, changes in inventories.

  • Create adhoc state reports, compliance reports, KPI reports for different stakeholders.

  • Conduct data analysis and understand trending functions / changes in inventories and provide solutions.

SKILLS:

  • Above average experience with Excel, Microsoft SQL Server query coding, and Azure Databricks query coding

  • Experience with SSRS & PowerBI is a plus.

  • Healthcare data experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience with data analyses and trending is required.

  • Knowledge of applying statistical metrics is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Key Performance Indicators

  • Critical thinker with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues.

Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

1-3 years

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience

3-5 years

Preferred License, Certification, Association

Microsoft certification

Pay Range: $44,936.59 - $97,362.61 / ANNUAL
