Northwood Foods is currently seeking a 1st shift maintenance mechanic. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment.

This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairing equipment used in production such as conveyor lines, motors, skinners, air compressors, pallet jacks, and hydraulic systems. Experience welding and basic electrical work preferred. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching are required in all areas. This position works in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment and these areas have slippery walking surfaces.

Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays if scheduled. Bi-lingual helpful, but not a requirement. Candidate must have a valid drivers license. Candidate must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
