Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in North Tonawanda, New York

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our manufacturing team in Buffalo, NY. The HR Manager will handle all aspects of HR, overseeing HR initiatives, and managing an HR Generalist and HRBP. This role will involve a significant amount of project-based HR tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all HR initiatives and projects

• Work closely with the Global Director, Organizational Capability

• Handle both the strategic and tactical aspects of HR function

• Supervise the work of an HR Generalist and HRBP

• Ensure compliance with HR-related regulations and standards

• Administer compensation and benefits functions

• Handle employee relations issues and inquiries

• Utilize HRMS and other HR-related software for efficient management

• Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Maintain regular on-site hours, with some flexibility as needed

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager in the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS software.

• Experience with About Time software is preferred.

• Proven ability to handle Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Solid understanding of Compliance processes within HR.

• Excellent skills in Employee Relations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to effectively manage and lead a team.

• Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
