Posting Summary | Rutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking instructors for multiple positions within the federal TRiO Programs (Talent Search and Upward Bound) reports to the Director of TRIO and Precollege Programs. The instructor positions are a part-time.This position is responsible for and not limited to the following: - Providing instruction in Composition & Literature, Mathematics, Science, and various elective courses for grades 9-12.
- The summer programs operate from late June to mid-August and are offered Monday-Friday.
- Our academic year programs align with the academic calendars of the Newark, East Orange, and Orange school districts. They are offered every other Saturday.

Minimum Education and Experience | - Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
