This position will be a member of the Individual Life Insurance (ILI) Product Design & Innovation Pricing team and a member of the Finance and Actuarial Community (FAC). This individual will report to the head of the Pricing team and be responsible new product and feature innovation with a high degree of coordination with peers throughout the Product Design & Innovation team as well as other Actuarial and Business functions (e.g., Product Strategy, Marketing, Assumptions, Valuation, Modeling, Portfolio Management). This individual will also be have responsibility ongoing product management which can include a wide variety tasks including regulatory requirements, impact assessments, and ad hoc requests.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
This individual will support a team responsible for:
Ideation and feasibility testing
Development and prototyping of new products or features
Evaluation of potential regulatory, market, or distribution considerations
Performance of preliminary modeling to support recommendations and identify onboarding considerations (mostly in Axis, Excel, and/or Python).
Performance of regulatory testing and preparing materials for state filings
Comply with pricing/risk governance
Partner with and communicate effectively with business stakeholders
Ad-hoc requests
What youll need:
Actuarial credentials FSA preferred with at least 5 years of actuarial experience.
Strong leadership, actuarial, problem solving, collaboration and communications skills required.
Ability to effectively and timely identify and implement comprehensive solutions required.
Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or modeling preferred.
Knowledge of life insurance products and PBR knowledge is highly desirable.
Excellent technical skills, strong analytical mind and the ability to produce insights that bring business value
Knowledge of GGY Axis is a plus.

The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
