Job Description
Hours: Sunday – Thursday: 10pm – 6:30am

What will you do?
Maintain 5S standards within department
Ensure all product is of the highest quality with all levels following cGMP, all procedures and competencies is of the highest standard
All quality actions including TrackWise actions, CAPAs, quality walk actions, investigations are completed within two weeks
Ensure schedule adherence, including product SKU efficiencies
Monitor performance of all assemblers, operators, line leads and equipment
Ensure appropriate staffing levels on a shift by shift basis
Increase efficiencies across all processes, evidence of incremental increases
Communicate schedule changes with all stakeholders
Conduct process audits to ensure compliance
PPI, drive continuous improvement through Gemba, JDI, RCCM, coaching, effectivity checks, able to team lead kaizen events
Effective management of people issues including absence and capability issues and completion of PMDs
Represent manufacturing in any proposed new process introductions
Conduct effective shift handovers on a daily basis
Presentation of data to varied groups of staff
Stand up to supervisor role when required
Perform quality audits tours
Perform investigations to a high standard on all issues including – equipment, errors, people, quality and safety
Perform all production assembly, operator and technician roles when required
Lead RCCM investigations to a high standard
Direct others through establishing direction; distribute workload; clear communication
Managing & Measuring work by tracking and assigning responsibilities for tasks; set clear objectives and provide feedback
Develop direct reports by effectively using the PMD (Performance Management Discussion) process and offer clear and constructive feedback
Direct the daily work load to ensure schedule completion while managing utilization and efficiency
Improve the production processes by utilizing the tools outline in PPI (Particle Process Improvement)
May be required to perform other related duties as required
How will you get here?
Education:
Minimum required education: HS Diploma or GED
Continuous Improvement Certification a plus (i.e. Six Sigma)
Experience:
2 years applicable industry experience required
1 year experience leading a team in a professional work environment
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge, Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel)
Advanced communication skills
Advanced problem solving
Ability to mentor, train, motivate and coach
Ability to identify waste and improve processes
Ability to delegate
