JOB REQUIREMENTS: Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director of Technology, Power Electronics and Energy Storage in Menasha, Wisconsin. Job Description: Assume full Engineering and design responsibility for all Power Electronics designs, engineered products for use in Faith Technologies, Incorporated (FTI) Product Solutions. Perform highly technical evaluation of Power Electronic Topologies, Control and FTI Product solutions. Evaluate the technology, performance, and capabilities of potential power electronic partners, including technical evaluation of products and engineering capabilities. Develop and implement power electronics engineered designs in both hardware and software of existing FTI technology patented IP, as well as on going advancement and development IP and engineering the IP into the power electronics products. Fully engage and direct power electronics engineers of strategic partners to implement and validate the FTI technology patented solutions and the newly developed IP. Act as the technical coordinator with suppliers and the product development, design, and system integration teams. Work with the DCentrIQ growth team for determining the market needs and to determine the optimal next generation of power electronics design. Manage FTI\'s power electronic product life cycle to support DCentrIQ product road map. Drive new product ideas and concepts through the product development team. Communicate and train product development team, growth team, and systems team with respect to product details and specifications, product advantages, product applications and product benchmark compared to alternative providers. Position requires 25% domestic or international travel to attend business meetings or conduct lab work reviews. Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Master\'s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering or a related field of study and ten (10) years of experience as a Power Electronics Engineer or a related occupation. The position requires ten (10) years of experience in Product Management and Power Electronics Engineering and Development. The position requires ten (10) years of experience with the following: all power electronic products used in DCentrIQ Products and Systems; Designing and developing power electronic hardware and software concepts at a detailed Engineering level for DER or Microgrid solutionsPower; Power Electronics Engineering innovation, development, design, implementation and field application; leading product certification in both lab and field setting; ES technologies and BMS design and interface utilizing Auto-sync dc bus and other methods; power systems and interactions of power systems with power electronics and magnetics; hands-on experience including troubleshooting for power electronics, micro grid products, and micro grid systems (both AC and DC micro grids); technical writing for patents, papers, and grants; DOE (design of experiments), modeling, lab set up including using CTLS tool, hardware, conducting configurations, data collection, analysis and conclusions, solutions for products, integrated microgrid products and total system integration; and leading a Research and Development team.
