Elevance Health Sales Account Representative II in MASON, Ohio

Location : Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week at our Mason, OH location.

The Sales Account Representative (SAR) II owns all service issues within their dedicated book of business. They are responsible for taking the lead on any elevated issue a client or broker brings to the attention of Sales.

How You Will Make an Impact :

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts open enrollment (virtual) meetings with members about their group benefits.

  • Educate members on their health and wellness tools and resources.

  • Research issues with internal teams to resolve escalated member claim, billing, and/or eligibility problems.

  • Develop relationships with existing accounts, members, brokers and responds to inquiries.

  • Respond to broker and/or client phone calls w/i 24 hours regarding high-level service issues, etc.

  • Attend and/or facilitate broker update meetings – share updates on current health & wellness benefits, anthem.com capabilities, employer resources, updated Anthem information for members & groups, etc.

  • Provide assigned brokers with dedicated contact information for billing, claims, etc.

  • Conduct introductory admin meetings with new group contacts, include membership, billing, AM as needed.

  • Work with AM & AE Sales for broker training – new product rollouts, network changes, etc.

  • Attend and present group benefits during employee meetings at open enrollment or throughout the year at broker/client request.

  • Facilitate group contact education on EmployerAccess, anthem.com capabilities, mobile app, health and wellness, etc. at broker request.

  • Investigate/report IT issues with broker, employer or member portals.

  • Develop relationships with internal partners in operations to help facilitate issue resolution.

  • Research Carelon Rx issues as needed- along with Specialty issues.

  • Report any service issue trends to management as needed.

  • Review/Audit SOBs, EOCs, SBCs, Spider, WGS and report errors to appropriate area accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Sales license is required to be obtained and appointed within ninety (30) days of hire.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance.
