To initiate, direct, and execute marketing and sales activities for Wyandot as it relates to Food Service and Ingredient Supply.  Accountable to the Chief Customer Officer.  Execute sales activities associated with capturing select new accounts and maintaining and growing current accounts using data and insights.  Hunter mentality is key. Work in conjunction with the Project Manager, Customer Service, and all other support staff to achieve a high level of effectiveness. 


 

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | - Develop and review sales plan and budget with Chief Customer | | Officer approval. | | - Responsible for managing and reporting forecast, sales, and | | prospecting progress. | | - Generate, develop, and pursue accounts with direct personal | | contact and/or through use of broker, consultant, and customer | | service. | | - Develop effective and professional presentations for customers | | making sure the account and Wyandot are aligned on business | | plans. | | - Make direct calls on accounts (with broker/consultant if | | applicable) to sell key sales plan objectives (new product/items, | | pricing, etc.) | | - Follow up on all sales calls, keeping correspondence and sales | | reports current. | | - Ensure Wyandot Snacks is included in all bids/tenders for | | applicable categories.  Lead the Bid/Tender process within | | Wyandot by sharing customer strategies/goals, maximizing Wyandot | | margin and capacity and relaying feedback. | | - Keep customers informed of any price changes, item changes, and | | new items. | | - Management of the internal customer team for assigned Wyandot | | business accounts to ensure projects/tasks are on track and | | completed in a timely manner. | | - Follow-up and monitor product and/or service complaints.  Get the | | facts, document, coordinate with proper company personnel, and | | take proper action promptly and fairly. | | - Plan sales trips as needed based on account priority/prospecting | | opportunity. | | - Create, negotiate and communicate all Terms & Conditions of each | | contract/project, expressed and implied commitments, all customer | | expectations, and schedules (Address any and all deficiencies | | prior to accepting the project, contract or sales order). | | - When applicable, report market activities (accounts, competitors) | | within assigned area. | | - Good time management with the ability to balance multiple | | projects with little supervision. | | - Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to | | present information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner. | | - Performs other duties as assigned. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
