POSITION SUMMARY

As a Maintenance Stockroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently operating and coordinating all processes related to the storeroom (parts room). You will maintain the storeroom functions as it pertains to ordering, receiving, creating and issuing parts within the physical storeroom and SAP. The Maintenance Storeroom Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining inventory within the storeroom.

  • Actively participate in storeroom management with removing or adding parts to inventory. Review, set-up, order all spare parts to be added to the storeroom. Review and inventory consignment parts regularly with the vendor. Review all vendor delivery tickets. Review and approve quotes from Fastenal for bin stock in the maintenance work shops.

  • Cross reference suitable parts for substitution and cost efficiency and assist with re-work/creation of parts.

  • Adhere to goals established on the maintenance indices report including parts maintenance, setting up new parts, change/modify existing parts; receive, issue, and allocate parts; daily interaction of all aspects of SAP and coordinating quarterly, semi-annual and annual storeroom cycle counts.

  • Maintain monthly inventory, reconcile parts, and investigate any inventory variances. Create a log of parts allocated and maintain the equipment in the storeroom and assist in updating PM work orders.

  • Provide technical assistance to the MRO Buyer, assist Buyer with delinquents, confirmations and any questions or concerns with replenishment.

  • Other duties as required by supervision, none of which would require physical or mental ability that is not already needed to perform other duties as specifically listed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience working with inventory management, ordering, purchasing or data entry in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $37,000 to $53,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
