As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information throughout our organization. Here, you will make an impact by:Supply Chain Management Responsibilities:Serving as the principal point of contact between the Digitization & Advanced Analytics (D&AA) team and the Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Deliver Functional Team (Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, Inter-Company and Global Trade Services)Collaborating with Deliver Executive stakeholders and others to identify and prioritize analytical solutions that will drive maximum value for the Enterprise Supply ChainDevelop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to track and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to drive team success.Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization within the supply chain.Develop and maintain supply chain models and simulations to evaluate different scenarios and make data-driven recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement demand forecasting models, ensuring accurate inventory planning.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address supply chain disruptions and improve overall performance.Generate reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.Support the implementation and utilization of supply chain management systems and tools to enhance efficiency and visibility.Your Skills and Experti eTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of experience in supply chain management in a private, public, government or military environmentThree (3) years of experience in a leadership roleAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing or productionMaster's degree in Business, Business Analytics or Supply Chain-related fieldProven experience in supply chain management or analysis, demonstrating a strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to analyze and present supply chain data.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and proficiency in utilizing relevant software applications.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP), Six Sigma, or Lean are a plus.Work Location:Plant/Facility: Various Locations within the USTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ACTIVE...Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
