Hilton Sales Manager in Mahe, Seychelles

Hilton Seychelles invites a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to join our team as Sales Manager - MICE. With six spectacular resorts across this breathtaking Indian Ocean archipelago, you'll be at the forefront of promoting our exceptional facilities and securing lucrative group and event business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Analysis: Proactively research market trends and competitor activity to identify high-potential business leads and develop winning strategies.
  • Business Development: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and industry partners. Conduct outreach to expand our network and drive bookings across all six resorts.
  • End-to-End Group Sales Management: Manage all group inquiries from initial contact through to contracting, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience.
  • Contract Negotiation: Secure profitable agreements by negotiating room rates and packages with clients.
  • Marketing Innovation: Craft and implement creative marketing initiatives, including leveraging trade relationships, to enhance our brand presence in the market.
  • International Travel & Trade Events: Represent Hilton Seychelles at MICE trade events internationally, building brand awareness and securing new business.
  • Exceptional Guest Experience: Collaborate seamlessly with resort teams to deliver outstanding service that builds lasting client relationships.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on appointments, leads, and conversions to support the Sales Director and senior management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven MICE Sales Success: A demonstrated track record of proactive MICE sales with exceptional closing abilities.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build strong client relationships.
  • Customer Service Focus: A commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive under pressure.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Delphi, Meeting Broker, and Cvent is essential.
  • Willingness to Travel: Availability and enthusiasm for international travel to attend MICE events.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Seychelles hospitality market is a significant advantage.
  • Passion for Sales: A genuine enthusiasm for achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Relevant Degree: A degree-level qualification in hospitality, sales, or a related field is preferred.
