Production Worker

Valtir is currently looking to hire 3rd shift production workers for our plant in Lima, OH

$21.00 (+$2.00 per hour shift premium)

Must have the ability to work Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:30am, Fridays 5pm - 1am

$3,000 sign on bonus.

*$750 attendance bonus. *

Valtir is hiring 3rd shift production workers to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by performing general labor aiding in the manufacturing and processing of highway safety products.

* Job Duties Include, but not limited to:*

• Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products
• Perform a variety of physically strenuous tasks as directed to maintain efficient production in the department
• Maintain a clean work environment through 5S activities 
• Lift/carry materials of different weights throughout the shift
• Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Working Environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Dependable job attendance is expected
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
• Ability to lift 55lbs to 100lbs continuously throughout shift
• Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Reliable and predictable attendance
