GEHA Strategic Partnerships & Growth Manager in Lee's Summit, Missouri

The role of the Strategic Partnerships and Growth Manager is pivotal in cultivating and overseeing meaningful relationships with strategic partners to drive the expansion of GEHA's health and dental product portfolio. As an integral member of the Partnerships team, this individual actively participates in various partnership activities, encompassing on-site activations, in-person and virtual events, and other initiatives aimed at brand awareness and lead generation. SKILLS

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates day-to-day relationship management with external sponsorship partners, conducts status calls and prepares detailed recaps and sponsorship tracking documents to ensure the optimization of sponsorship assets, adherence to deadlines, and successful execution of activations.

  • Represents GEHA externally, playing a pivotal role in constructing and supporting our long-term strategic partnership programs.

  • Collaborates with partners on seasonal marketing campaigns, social content plans, sponsorship performance metrics (e.g., engagements, click-throughs, impressions, attendance), and information related to partnership events.

  • Provides support in ideation and activation planning for both on-site and virtual events and engagements.

  • Negotiate/coordinate sponsorship opportunities for in-person and virtual events, tradeshows, fairs, and activations.

  • Develops and manages the tracking, execution, and reporting of all events, actively monitoring, and updating campaigns within Salesforce.

  • Oversee the GEHA Store and vendor relationship to maintain up to date products and processes to help create a seamless experience for internal teams.

  • Works closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to evaluate current and potential partners, aids in the development of outcome reporting, and contributes to brainstorming future opportunities and partnerships.

  • Acts as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing support and information on various projects, activations, and engagements throughout the year .

Requirements: Education & Experience

  • Four-year degree in communications, marketing, sports management or related field or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years.

  • Four years’ experience in managing corporate partnerships.

  • Experience planning corporate events on a national basis.

  • Exceptional customer/client orientation and people skills

  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations.

  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working individually and collaboratively.

  • Deadline driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

  • Experience in sports or branding partnerships and activations

  • Knowledge of the health care industry, with emphasis on insurance and health care management

  • Residing in KC Metro preferred

Work-at-home requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.

  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.

  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms

  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,858 - $108,342 USD.
