Robert Half Production Control Associate in Lancaster, Texas

Description

We are searching for a diligent and meticulous Production Control Associate in Lancaster, Texas, to join our team in the packaging industry. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with material requirements, maintaining board inventory, and handling various accounting requirements. This position offers a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and control production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet production standards

• Coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials

• Maintain Board Inventory - order, receive, consume, and remove

• Schedule board deliveries from offsite storage facilities

• Oversee finished goods and board cycle counts

• Manage scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime, or material/labor shortages

• Set up new items in the Item File database including die information, packing specifications, inks, board, and pricing

• Complete production data in Access databases

• Use information to coordinate with Customer Service Reps to prepare and plan shipments

• Report production credits to Accounting

• Prepare and send slides for weekly review

• Run Month-end reports and save copies into the month-end folder on the shared drive

• Reconcile Finished Goods and Board Inventories

• Send board accruals and in-transit invoices to accounting

• Coordinate with Accounting on AR past due invoices and participate in monthly AR calls.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions and Customer Service

• Knowledge of Production Schedule, Schedule Changes, Master Production Schedule, and Production Planning

• Experience in Supply Chain Logistics, Material Planning, and Inventory Planning & Reporting

• Proficiency in Inventory Planning, Inventory Reconciliation, Inventory Reports, and Inventory Tracking

• Familiarity with Delivery Schedule and Microsoft Access

• Knowledge of MS Access and Production Databases

• Ability to Process Paperwork

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of Consumer Goods Industries

• Experience in the Manufacturing sector, Manufacturing Company, and Manufacturing Industry.
