PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

This position requires atraining periodlasting approx.6 to 12 monthsto achieve maximum earning potential. During the training period, the compensation will be$18 per hour (Mon-Fri, 40 hour work week). Following the completion of training, the base pay rate will increase to$20 per hour, with commissionsbeing earned in addition to the hourly rate.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for entering all Cabinet projects into the 20/20 Design Program in order to produce accurate and functional layouts in a timely manner, along with providing quotes for Cabinetry and Countertops, and assisting the Cabinet Department in a variety of areas to maintain consistent sales growth and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides the highest level of service and support to assigned salesperson(s). Meets with customers to receive project input and review designs. Field measures jobs and produces cabinet layouts and quotes. Sends layouts to required fabricators for countertop quotes. Processes cabinet orders as needed Assists with check in of cabinets and tops as needed. Provides our clients with the highest level of customer service. Answers all telephone inquiries pleasantly and promptly. Maintains up to date knowledge of the products sold, product usage, product prices and new products. Complies with Company procedures on sales transactions, paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc. Maintains cabinet literature and displays. Maintains cabinet catalogs and price lists. Maintains housekeeping for assigned work area. Assists supervisor, other employees as needed. Provides Salesperson(s) daily updates on issues with customers. Promotes team concept.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:

Ability to do math, read orders, interpret floor plan dimensions, follow instructions, and complete forms.

Ability to communicate with customers, employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.

Quick learner on new design software. (20/20 is what we use)

Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.

Interpersonal skills.

Good telephone etiquette.

Creativity is a must!

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work inside in controlled temperature. Work with mechanical equipment on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Reach over head to grasp materials. Bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis. Manual dexterity.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel to job sites

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Must be able to pass Drug Screen Valid driver's license with insurability
