LMR Technical Group, LLC Electronics Technician Maintenance II in Keyport, Washington

LMR provides industrial support services across the Undersea Weapons Department (Code 30), Test and Evaluation Department (Code 20), Undersea Systems & Sustainment Department (Code 40) and Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department (Code 50), of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT). Requirements include providing technical support services associated with various industrial operations, depot repair activities, and torpedo intermediate maintenance functions.

 

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Electronics Technician Maintenance II (ETM II) fabricates, tests, aligns, troubleshoots, and repairs complex circuit card assemblies, complex electronic assemblies, and electronics systems using approved procedures, drawings, or schematics. Programs, operates, or maintains automated test equipment and complex automated industrial equipment. Collaborates with engineers on project design, prototyping, and production.

Job Description:

  • Electronic cleaning operations: Perform typical cleaning methods involved in industrial trade operations associated with heavy carbon composites, greases, and fuels. Operate cleaning machinery associated with these operations.
  • Electronic component disassembly and rebuild: Perform assembly, cleaning, re-assembly, and test operations in accordance with approved Government procedures.
  • Component repair operations: Perform typical Depot repairs on various components in accordance with approved Government procedures, shop orders, drawings, and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and fault isolation: Troubleshoot components to identify source of failure using procedures, schematics, and drawings and consult with other trained personnel as needed to resolve failures.
  • Testing, aligning, and troubleshooting of complex analog and digital electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, circuit cards, and power supplies using universal automatic and manual test stations, hardware specific automatic and manual test stations, and bench top test equipment.
  • Test set preventative maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on test sets and shop equipment. Perform lock-out tag-out procedures in accordance with all required directives and regulations.
  • Test set corrective maintenance: Perform unscheduled corrective maintenance on test sets and shop equipment.
