Civil CAD Technician needed in Kansas City MO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Engineering firm to assist technical teams of detailers, designers and engineers to create world class detail on a variety of projects. Ideal candidates will have experience with Revit and BIM Software.

location: Kansas City, Missouri

salary: $23 - 30 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.

• Assist with preparing and revising plot drawings.

• Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.

• Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline.

• Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.

• Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.

• Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.

• Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems.

• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Revit is a plus

• Civil 3D is a plus

qualifications:

• Experience level: Entry Level

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Education: High School

skills:

• CAD (1 year of experience is preferred)
