A Construction Manager is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Jefferson, WI area. The Construction Manager oversees all site construction activities, ensuring high-level communication, managing financial, safety, and schedule performance, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining quality standards in compliance with project requirements.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for all site construction activities for CapEx projects or one large project, ensuring high-level communication with engineering, plant staff, and safety activities.

  • Support field technical issue resolution, collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver technical and non-technical solutions.

  • Possess strong leadership, managerial, and communication skills to articulate objectives clearly with various stakeholders.

  • Manage financial, safety, and schedule Key Performance Indicators, redirecting any deviation or proposing alternatives.

  • Review SAP project details and update project management tools as required.

  • Organize, manage, and establish asset tracking, tagging, and project close-out activities.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work site, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Skills:

  • Thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology, including various software applications.

  • Possess strong decision-making abilities and interpersonal skills.

  • Be able to handle numerous technical, commercial, and administrative tasks.

  • Have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • strong MEP construction experience (multi-million dollar capex projects) in the food and/or industrial manufacturing industry.

Experience:

  • 15 years of Construction Management related.

  • More than 3 years' experience software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Cx Alloy, and others).
