Parsons Corporation Construction Manager - Mechanical (MEP) - Infrastructure in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager-Mechanical to oversee the mechanical aspects of a large-scale infrastructure construction project. Working closely with project stakeholders, the Construction Manager will ensure the successful execution of mechanical construction activities, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all mechanical construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

  • Collaborate with project engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into the overall project.

  • Develop and implement construction methodologies, procedures, and quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

  • Mentor and supervise a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and contractors to optimize productivity and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years in construction management, with a focus on mechanical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects and a minimum of 10 years experience in GCC (KSA ideally

  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management software and infrastructure relevant MEP systems
