Job Description

Mandatory Training: June 10 - June 14, 2024

Program Start: 6-17-2024

Program End: 7-26-2024

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

This position will deliver educational based summer camp activities at several locations. May serve as the Site Leader and correspond with parents as necessary. Work may require some outdoor activities.

Examples of Work

  • Communicate with parents regarding camper registration.

  • Supervise and direct PT Camp Counselors.

  • Teaches prepared lesson to school-aged children.

  • Adjusts lesson to be age appropriate.

  • Sets up materials for activities.

  • Prepares and plans for upcoming lessons.

  • Performs related work as required.

Open Requirements/Supplemental Information

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an educational classroom role; preferably elementary education.

  • Must possess a Florida teaching certification.

  • Must pass background screening on a local, state and federal level as required by the State of Florida Children and Family Services.

  • Must successfully complete CPR and First Aid course which will be provided (date to be determined).

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experienced classroom work in reading, math and science.
