We are looking for a Category Buyer with a professional experience within MRO(Maintain, Reapair, Operate) sourcing to join our team. At Grundfos, we develop ground-breaking water management technology for both private and commercial use that is both efficient and sustainable.

What is the job about?

In Indjija, you will join our regional EMEA Indirect Purchasing team .

As our new Category Buyer you will work on conducting value based sourcing within the Category and continuously optimizing of the Operational Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability delivered from Suppliers.

Your main responsibilities :

1. Strategic Sourcing Process related activities (70%):

Support the implementation of our new S2P sourcing and procurement management system.

• Support development of sourcing strategy

• Implement the Sourcing strategy by using the existing Purchasing Tools

• Prepare data and fact packs for supplier negotiations

• Support market intelligence research and analysis activities for visibility in key cost drivers and market trends, industry best practices.

• Support value & savings delivery for the category

• Support suppliers portfolio optimization

• Responsible for tendering process

• Support the creation and management of contracts

• Support data transparency activities and reporting activities

1. Supplier Relationship Management related activities (30%)

• Support preparation and facilitation of business reviews

• Support the definition and maintenance of preferred suppliers lists

• Support the suppliers performance assessment and development.

Your background :

• Relevant commercial/technical education

• 2+ years professional experience within sourcing

• Knowledge of best practises and relevant systems for business support

• Good communication skills

• Analytical skills

• Organizational and strategic thinking, Knowledge of exel and or powerBI

• Result- and action oriented

• Expected travel is approximately max 10%

• Fluent English
