We are seeking a professional like you to ensure the safe and efficient operations within the polyurethane plants at the Malcom, IA location. The primary function of this role is to supervise day-to-day operations, including managing resources assigned to the operation to ensure proper coverage, balanced workload, and effective utilization of employees to meet the production plan.

As a Production Supervisor, You Create Chemistry By...

• Supervising daily activities in the department, providing technical guidance and information as to the production schedule and daily work requirements.

• Working with other site personnel in implementing process improvements, management of change, safety improvements, and quality improvements.

• Using SAP to order consumables for the operation.

• Leading operators in daily shift discussions to review safety messages, communicate work assignments, review production status & priorities.

• Ensuring departmental procedures are current and accurate and that all direct reports have completed all necessary training and possess qualifications to perform the work assigned.

• Submiting SAP work notifications to address repairs and ensure safe work permits are completed accurately as needed for maintenance to complete work safely.

• Ensuring that all activities carried out within your area of responsibility comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and all incidents are reported when required.

If you...

• Have 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing setting. Chemical Manufacturing preffered.

• Have supervisory experience

• Are self-motivated with proven leadership skills who can supervise multiple plants at a time.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with other departments.

• Are proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office Suite software. SAP experience is preferred.

• Have the ability to lead/participate in root cause analysis, management of change and timely completion of action items.
