JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Sr Sales Representative for the Texas Region to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the needs of our current clients to ensure we are delivering a high level of personalized customer service while also continuously hunting and closing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of self-confidence, passion, initiative, and commitment to customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sales plans that defines the strategy/actions required to achieve goals and growth objectives.

  • Assess customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer inquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.

  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and builds positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.

  • Refers sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

  • Develops long-term sales plans for key customers and adapt sales activities so these objectives are met.

  • Build and advocate deal strategies with clients on short-term projects and long-range partnerships through various sales channels.

  • Plan and execute weekly travel schedule to meet customer meetings required.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Experience:  2 + years of experience in account management, technical sales experience required. Experience in hazardous lighting or lighting is preferred. 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Engineering, or a similar field preferred. Experience in lieu of education is accepted.

  • Consultative and strategic sales experience selling into the refining, power, chemical processing, and heavy industrial industries.

  • Experience in selling direct to owners in a site facility environment is preferred.

  • Proficient in all MS Office products & Salesforce.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Home office with the ability to travel up to 75% of the time, territory dependent. When traveling, will be in plant/industrial environments.
