Pulp Mill Superintendent

Career Opportunity:

Responsible for the safe, efficient and continuous manufacture of kraft pulp in desired quality and quantity. Includes supervision of the Pulp Mill. Reports to the Pulp, Power, Woodyard Superintendent.

How you will impact WestRock:

· Directs operations to meet production, budgetary goals and control expenditures.

· Ensures that infrastructure and equipment are adequately maintained and reliable.

· Leads pulp mill safety efforts.

· Responsible for the department quality program. Sets and maintains quality standards.

· Monitors operations to insure compliance with environmental regulations.

· Provides long range goals for production improvements and employee training.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering preferred and 10+ years of work related mill experience.
