Supply Chain Requirements Supervisor

The Supply Chain Requirements Supervisor will manage the teams responsible for securing consistent material flow and producing the shop floor production schedules. This individual will be responsible for leading the collaborative efforts required to analyze potential supply chain risks, lead escalation efforts to mitigate those risks and drive stability into the shop floor production schedules. This role will be integral to develop strategic and long-term alignment between procurement and scheduling groups. The individual will be required to make decisions involving a high degree of complexity. This individual will work with the management team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices including processes and procedures. This role requires an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation and long-term corporate perspective.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Aligning strategic planning between material control and production planning

•Represent the supply chain on cross functional business unit teams

•Propose, implement and support multi-site or high-level business tools and process enhancements (continuous process improvement)

•Analyze current processes and procedures to develop integration metrics consolidated team

•Analyze entire supply chain including logistics costs, materials and sources

•Recommend improvements based on supply chain analysis

•Lead integration of new high-level process changes

•Manage large projects related to changes in the supply chain

•Communicate project status to all levels of management

•Develops and delivers business plans or models for operations management and other supply chain Leaders

•Requires ability to define high risk or high-level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, andimplement to achieve the desired results

•Identify, develop and complete strategic level work plans for entire supply chain or high-risk projects

•Own, develop and implement business processes and related improvements

•Facilitate small-medium teams having explicit objectives and scope

•Ability to align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives

•Provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers

•Ability to hold self and team accountable to targets driving business improvement and enterprise alignment

•Ability to provide candid feedback to best represent facilities interests through enterprise transition

•Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

•Requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, Technology or equivalent experience

•Knowledge and experience and execution of lean tools including pull systems, PDCA thinking, kanbans, valuestream maps and PFEP

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
