Responsibilities: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped Reviews customer orders, examines stock and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review Develops and executes replenishment strategies; conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts Analyzes, and when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required 1+ years warehouse/inventory control experience preferred Must be able to multi-task and skillfully prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment Must have strong computer skills and be able to use e-mail and quickly learn and use sophisticated inventory control software, as well as Microsoft Teams for daily video meetings Have some experience working with a computer-based warehouse / inventory management system. (Any experience with SAP software is a huge plus, but not required) Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate a motor vehicle Must work well with others and be part of a team Must be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds Previous warehouse shipping experience is a plus Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have strong integrity Be willing to work overtime with short notice if a situation arises requiring it. All overtime is paid at time and a half rate Qorvo will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorizations for this position.
